Whether you photograph special moments and milestone, your yearly family photo or just because, portrait sessions are ideal for stopping time in its tracks! Family, maternity, engagement, couples, birthday or senior photos - being able to reflect on a specific time is something to cherish forever.

SESSION NOTES
The biggest goal in your portrait session is to capture who you are as a person, family or couple. The majority of your session will consists on capturing a feeling in your images! We want to feel every laugh, every kiss and every emotion possible! Your gallery will consist of both candids as well as a few posed portraits!
Lighting is the most important part of your session! Ideally, best lighting for portraits would be
before the sun sets! This makes for less harsh lighting situations and adds a beautiful warm glow to your images! Being on time for sessions is very important for this reason!
Neutral colors photograph best! Outfits with more subtle colors and design is less detracting in your images and allows to focus primarily on you! White, beige, grey, black, muted blues, pink, oranges and don't forget - textures and layers are our friend! For groups, it would be ideal to add contrast between people with colors, textures or patterns!
